Pay attention to your credit card receipt at this place. Kitchen was closed when we got there so my husband had 2 drinks that were on special, I had one. Our bill came out to $11. I tipped $5 cash on top of what we paid on a card which was $11. Two days later when I checked my account I noticed I was charged $20. I called the Pub 72 Friday night whoever answered just took a message. So then I called Saturday morning talked to a manager. Explained to her what had happened. She says she will speak to her brother and I would get a phone call by the end of the day or by the morning the next day. No call back.
Above average burger but their "crispie fries" have a batter on them to make them crisp and they don't taste good. Several lunch specials on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wide ranging menu offers lots of interesting choices. Service was quick and friendly. Seems to be very popular with the lunch crowd.
We had pub 72 cater our sons bday party - we ordered Mac n cheese, brisket and ribs and it was all exceptional! We really appreciate Mike helping us! This is the best BBQ.

Great food and very attentive staff!!! It has a cozy feeling that I loved and great location...fireplace right outside the building and within walking distance to so many other attractions in the area. I had a great experience 💯
Prices were reasonable. Two of us had steak and one had burger. They all were slightly over cooked. Was very busy so that might have been why. Food tasted good though. Was a little loud with music for our liking. Especially during dinner.
Been here a couple times now, although we usually have a good time, the last visit was just horrible. The service was awful, our waiter was horribly slow, forgot parts of the order, and although she was “wearing a mask” it was not covering her nose OR mouth. Granted there were only two waiters on the floor, it was still very frustrating. As for the food we ordered the cheese curds, fire braised tacos, and Thursday special being fried chicken. The cheese curds are always amazing, the tacos had absolutely no flavor, but the fried chicken wasn’t bad.
I've previously had very good experiences at Pub 72, so I was shocked by how I was treated when I came in recently. I have drank here before, and they had no issues with my vertical ID, as it hasn't expired yet. But when I came in last night to eat, the server told me she could not serve me as my ID was vertical. Even when I asked if I could just order food, she refused and I was asked to leave. I'm very disappointed, as usually the staff are kind and friendly, but this server has put me off from returning. So if you're looking to drink here on your 21st, be warned your money will be no good here.
So Cool. Went to dinner for the first time there tonight. Got their crispy chicken sandwich (which is Wednesday special). So crispy, yet so juicy, fries were fresh. The food was piping hot!!! Service was awesome. Friendly and fast. She was very attentive to us, as well as the rest of the patrons. Definitely look forward to going back, and enjoying the specials & fun nights they do throughout the week 😊
